Hockey's Back
Several games are scheduled for this weekend in the IIHL RD and IIHL DD. The Flyers host the Cubs on Sunday evening to restart hockey following the Christmas Break. This is followed by a clash between the Raiders and the Ice Vixens.
Monday evening will see three games take place with the Bulls facing off against the Blackrock Whalers to kick things off. This will be followed by the Hawks against the Whalers with the Blackhawks hosting the Icebreakers later that night.
Meanwhile, the Charlestown Chiefs travel to Scotland this weekend where they will play the Fife Flyers on Saturday at 7:15 pm before taking on the Solway Sharks on Sunday evening at 6:00 pm. They travel with four candidates for the Senior Irish National Team in Steven Balmer, Steven Adams, Niall McEvoy and recently transferred goalkeeper, Sean Pepper. While Craig Fay will be looking to make the U18 Irish National Team travelling to Mexico in March.
An exciting weekend of hockey awaits both here in Ireland at the Dundalk Ice Dome as well as in Scotland at the Celtic Cup.
