A new policy has been passed by the IIHA Executive regarding the payment of fees and registrations. As of February 1, 2008, no IIHA officer is permitted to accept cash payments for IIHA registrations and insurance. This is to protect the safety of IIHA officers and staff.
There are now two methods of payments accepted by the IIHA for membership and insurance.
Option A - Credit Card
1.Logon on to
Memberships
2.Pay securely for membership fees and insurance online with your credit card.
3.Print out the receipt for the transaction and attach to registration forms and 2 signed passport photos.
4.This may be posted to the IIHA Office at the address below;, or the receipt, form, and signed photos maybe handed directly to an IIHA official (though this is not preferred)
5.The relevant club will be notified when a player is deemed registered.
A player may not participate in an IIHL game until the teams have received registration notification.
Option B - Cheque payment
1.A cheque made payable to the Irish Ice Hockey Association is acceptable. It is preferred that all cheque payments are drawn on the club of the players.
2.Please attach cheque payments to registration forms and 2 signed passport photos.
3.This may be posted to the IIHA Office at the address below; or the receipt, form, and signed photos maybe handed directly to an IIHA official (though this is not preferred)
4.The relevant club will be notified when a player is deemed registered.
A player may not participate in an IIHL game until the teams have received registration notification.
Current Registrations
Each team will be sent a copy of their account dated February 1st which provides a breakdown of the payments received by the IIHA to the 31st January and the breakdown of currently registered and insured players. Each team has until February 8th to ensure that all their players' fees are paid.
If there is any discrepancy between IIHA records and the clubs records please contact the IIHA Treasurer
robertdooley@iiha.org to reconcile.
It is the clubs responsibility to ensure that all their players are fully registered.
Note: On the 8th February, a list will be provided to the Referee in Chief and his staff of each IIHL club and their registered players. If a player is not on that list they will not be permitted to play in any IIHL game.
